this weekend of soccer matches has its fair share of entertainment.

first tottenham held man u to a draw, and had robinson not made a rare mistake spurs would have gotten all 3 points huh? then fulham upset liverpool 2-0 and wigan upset aston villa by the same scoreline. haiz. newcastle scraped past sunderland 3-2. its amazing how sunderland produced two wonder strikes to beat shay given so convincingly. and would have grabbed a deserved point if elliot's chip hadnt come off the bar. and 9 man real fell 2-1 at home to valencia. so holy, with beckham following in rooney's shoes

at least inter beat udinese 1-0 which to me is all that matters

basically whole holis was spent like this: first two days spent on chinese, then slacked off entire holidays, squeezing time off to do stuff like math, chem, eng. left half uncopleted. forgot all concepts learnt previously.

then rest of time spent on tv. and yea, soccer. and ps2. ok pretty okay shows shown during holiday period. they had the ending few eps of justice bao. lol. then weekends got some show abt hospital and nurse. not bad also. and sports as well. soccer and US Open.

during my time in perth, aston villa drew 1-1 at portsmouth, inter beat juventus 1-0 to win italian super cup. ytd, milan baros scored on his home debut to hand villa their first win of the season. hehe. and leeds also beat oldham. and ytd they beat norwich 1-0 away.

inter drawn with porto, rangers, and artmedia. artmedia will be a walkover both home and away, so will rangers and porto at the san siro. my worry is the game away at porto and maybe rangers. but inter should overcome them and advance as group winners. no less

today was a musical day. full of music. supposed to watch nat day parade, den rain so we thot dunnit go down. then in the end rain stopped we slack till very late den went down to watch paradde. after tt was musical interlude at drama centre. 4k was entertaining the sec 4s when jason wong come in and anti-climax. lol after tt 4i perform, then all the way till 4n, with lydia in between.

anyway today was the ultimate showdown between the legned, Mr Flair, and the legend killer, Mr Orton. flair and orton fought in a time limit submission match. for 20 mins, the two men used various types of submission moves. flair used his larger size to intimidate to his advantage. the walls of jericho, STF, camel crutch, ankle lock, figure-four-leg-lock were all used, but orton mustered enough determination to escape, and even got in some offense, coming close to hitting the crossface, and even managing to lock in the master lock. at the end of the 20 mins, the score was tied at 0-0. a good fight

days since my last entry... and now holis are coming to an end. lol not tt i mind coz holis was mostly spent on hw or ps or soccer or tv. hehe i think the furthest i went this holis was jurong point. er ya thursday going lavender to renew passport. if i dun do tt i wunt be able to attend overseas camp. hehe

k holis are so-so. but it sure kept me worried one whole month thinking on how i am gonna cope with the upcoming term tests. esp phy, when i dun even know when the test is. why are other class ppl saying its on second day of week 1 when lam told us week 2? woot if it turns out to be on day 2 of week 1 then i am screwed. and occasionally i feel a little zibei for always being stuck in 20+ in terms of class ranking, which means bottom 10 for both terms. not tt i mind tt much, but it sucks to have others trashing u in all aspects

ik entertainment wise, this holis quite okay. occasionally got some good movies on tv. like bubbleboy was hilarious and funny. hehe. then dracula was quite scary lol

i also realised tt basketball matches are quite exciting. was watching 4th quarter of san antonio spurs vs detroits. lol damn thrilling and exciting. in the end spurs won by 1 single point. hehe. they now lead 3-2 in series...

Today hasn’t been a good day. It all started when I decided to watch ireland’s game against Israel at midnight. Wrong choice. Match was smooth sailing fer irish. 2-0 up. Den all of a sudden Israel headed in one goal, then out of no where, the f***ing ref awarded Israel with a penalty which was converted. I mean, why penalty? No foul, nothing. To hell with him. 2-2 half time. Second half was dominated by Ireland, but juz couldn’t find the net. Damien duff failed to head into empty net, then his another shot was somehow kept out. Oshea’s header was also kept out miraculously. But tts not my point. Ireland had two to three clear penalty appeals turned down. Morrison was lashed at and held back by a defender. No penalty. Duff was violently brought down. No penalty. wtf? Then first half Robbie keane brought down, ending his part on the match, no penalty. Left me cursing the isreal team and the f***ing referee. Guys, lets date back to the second leg of the tiger cup final. singapore vs indonesia. singapore leads 3-1 from first leg. barely a few minutes into the match, indra scored for singapore. u jump up and down, celebrating the goal in triumph. k now date back to 22nd april 2005. venue: Singapore Conference Hall. whewn the all impt gold with honours was awarded to HCI, all hell broke loose. it was even triumphant than when singapore won the tiger cup. overwhelmed with emotions as i held back tears. lol din wanna cry there. anyway, yeah our hard work payed off big time, and we made it our day. a day to remember

I am overwhelmed. Overwhelmed with fear that I would fail my pull up tmr. Fear that I would have to come down every freaking Tuesdays and Thursdays to train. This policy SUCKS. Its not gonna help for us to go down there every morning to train. I guess the pe teachers juz dun see my point.

Hwa Chong Institution 7th Research Symposium 2005. wootz sound like some big event. in the end, juz presentations by students. anyway left during interval with hf and rui hong as we gotta rush. heard from junzhi the andy hor speech was very interesting and inspiring after the break. lol shld have stayed if got no co commitments after tt. or shld i say i wouldnt even have attended the symposium had it not been for co commitments

today i damn disappointed with my performance at street soccer. played goalie, and althou the goals i let in all not my fault(top corner), i got a hand to it. but it had to fly into the net. lol

made it a point to blog in the morning. co intensive training has finally ended. actually, to be honest, i am looking forward to the breaks and end of day to play soccer. haha.

injured my left wrist and left thumb. matt hoot the ball, and i tried to block it. in the end, the ball hit my thumb, and i think i sprained it. tts on day 2. day 3 lunch, we played ncc jc pple. they baoli one la. i blocked a shot with my left hand. wahlau in the end my hand got pulled backwards. took like 5 mins before i could bend it back. now damn pain. sprained it as well. zhiguang said he heard a crack sound when the ball hit my left palm. woot. scary. reduced to typing with only one hand yesterday night.

anyway during lunch, we co peeps came to canteen for the packet food. we saw a basket of packed food there then we took lar, not realising it was for band. some started eating. i din eat coz at tt time, the aunty juz happened to come down and informed us on the mistake. ok lor. so later tt uncle came down and blasted us for taking band food. wtf is wrong with him? pms himself. he himself nvr indicate properly how we know. ask him screw himself lar. bastard.
